I found this novel to be an excellent, worthwhile read. It was interesting, captivating, and fascinating. You can truly feel the anguish and transformation of the author's experiences. It's comparable to works by Jack Kerouac, Tom Wolfe, and Charles Bukowski. The author's emphasis on spirituality, mixed with his own horrifying struggles allows for an interesting relationship between author and reader. You can feel and experience his journey through drug induced trances, and amazing apt depictions of struggles with mental disorders. It's truly a worthwhile read. The changing of the format including, anecdotes and poetry, keeps it from becoming repetitive. I found myself cheering the author on in his journey for enlightenment. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relatively short but captivating read!Product details

I really liked reading it. I have to say that it is an interesting read about the life of the author but the author paints a mental picture for the reader that is surrealism but in writing the paint is in the mind of the reader. Also the author answered all my questions about various parts of the book.
